Cornelius Claeys

Cornelius Claeys is a biofuels thought leader, including as head of market intelligence at Neste and in leadership positions at renewable fuel consulting firms. At Neste, the team Claeys led was responsible for briefing internal and external stakeholders about the business environment and strategic market outlook. In his role as director renewables at Stratas Advisors, he had the end responsibility for all analysis, datatools and projects related to SAF and biofuels. In June 2025, he founded CleanMotion Advisory, a research and consulting company specialized in renewable fuels regulation, competitor dynamics, technology assessment, supply-demand modelling and strategic policy support.
