Rahul Malik currently leads the Low-Carbon Fuels Consulting portfolio for the EMEA region within the Oil, Midstream, and Downstream division at S&P Global. His work spans advanced biofuels—including renewable diesel (RD), sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), FAME, and ethanol—as well as methanol and emerging e fuels.
With 14 years of experience in the downstream sector, Rahul specializes in strategic and technical consulting across the fuels value chain. His expertise includes commercial and technical due diligence, market and strategy development, scenario modeling, investment analysis, and decarbonization strategies for both conventional fuels and next generation low carbon alternatives.
He is recognized for his deep industry insight and his ability to guide clients through the energy transition with data-driven, actionable perspectives.
