Whitefox Technologies’ CEO to speak at Biofuels International 2017

Gillian Harrison, CEO at Whitefox Technologies, will be speaking at this year’s Biofuels International Conference.

Harrison started her career as a finance lawyer at global law firm Clifford Chance in London, where she focused on corporate finance, infrastructure projects, and cross border mergers and acquisitions.

During her ten years working as a lawyer, she spent two of those years in Sao Paulo where she specialised on large-scale project finance in the oil and gas sector. Harrison changed direction in 2007 when she joined Whitefox Technologies.

Whitefox focusses on membrane-based processes to improve production efficiencies for alternative fuels and industrial chemicals and she was attracted to the prospect of helping to build a business that enables producers to be more sustainable and improve their bottom line.

Initially she had a hybrid role, legal and business development with a focus on the South American markets. In 2009, Harrison was appointed CEO of Whitefox and has positioned the company to take advantage of growth opportunities in the main global ethanol markets.

Harrison will be speaking on Day Two at 11.45am of the Biofuels International Conference & Expo. Her talk will be entitled ‘Membrane solution that increases throughput and yield while reducing water and energy cost’.
