Previously she was a senior consultant in Advisian, Worley’s consulting business, and a senior field advisor at Honeywell UOP.

Eddie started in the markets in 1980 and has worked on trading desks in Bullion, Energy, Agricultural, Softs, Metals Futures & Options. In the late 1980’s he added FX, Equities and Fixed Income to his abilities and by 1990 he’d managed desks in all of these. He joined Esprit Brokers (precursor to ADMISI) in 1991 to develop FX business & started the 24 Hour FX Desk. By 2018, after 27 successful years as Head of FX he moved over to a new role as Head of Technical Analysis and Senior Markets Analyst. Eddie is a Director of The Society of Technical Analysts in the UK. He’s also a Member of ACI-UK (the FX dealers association) and an Associate Member of the CISI. Eddie publishes ‘Eddie’s Crayons…’ Technical Analysis reviews on FX and commodity futures markets. He regularly speaks at conferences and on TV & radio.

Theo joined Wood Mackenzie in November 2019 and is a member of the Oil & NGLs research team based in the London Office. He is responsible for working primarily on oil demand modelling and forecasting for the EMEARC region. He is also responsible for our European biofuels market outlook.
Prior to working with Wood Mackenzie, Theo spent five years at Centrica where he was Senior Fundamentals Analyst in the Group Economics and Fundamentals Team. Among Theo's responsibilities at Centrica was the building and maintenance of models projecting global crude oil supply/demand balances and price. He was responsible for the analysis behind, and presentation of, the macro economic and oil sections of their monthly and half-yearly reports.
Theo holds a degree in economics from the University of Macedonia in Greece and a masters in energy, trade and finance from Cass Business School in London. He is currently undertaking data science courses which further supplement his academic qualifications.

Ausilio is a Director of E4tech, a leading strategy consultancy focused on sustainable energy, now part of ERM the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy. He has over 25 years’ experience working with private and public sector clients on opportunities and risks in sustainable energy and related business strategy and policy. In particular, Ausilio advises energy and automotive companies, technology developers, industry associations and governments on growth and sustainability aspects of low carbon fuels. His assignments range from the assessment of specific biofuels technologies and supply chains, and the modelling of their technical, economic and environmental aspects, to the development of innovation, business and policy agendas. Ausilio has recently been advising multi-stakeholder organisations such as the Oil & Gas Climate Initiative and the World Economic Forum. He is part of advisory panels for a range of organisations and initiatives including the EC’s Strategic Transport Research and Innovation Agenda, UK Department for Transport technology demonstration grant competitions (Advance Biofuels Demonstration Competition, Fuels for Freight and Flight Competition, and Green Fuels Green Skies Competition), IEA's Bioenergy Roadmap Advisory Group, and the Climate Bonds Initiative's Technical Working Group on bioenergy. Ausilio is also a Principal Research Fellow at Imperial College London, and holds degrees in Physics and Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, in Environmental Technology with Energy Policy from Imperial College, and a PhD on techno-economic and environmental aspects of biomass energy from King’s College London. He has spent time working in the UK, Switzerland and Brazil, and speaks English, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Until the end of December 2020, Olivier (Olly) Macé is Biofuels Director for bp fuels supply & midstream Europe, responsible for the biofuels commercial performance in the region. Olly has worked in the Downstream Oil and Biofuels sectors for the last 30 years, holding a variety of roles across Refining, Trading, Supply & Logistics, Fuels and Lubricants Sales, Finance, Strategy etc. In 2006, BP launched the BP Biofuels organisation, aimed at developing a large-scale biofuels business based on advanced technologies and production assets. Olly joined BP Biofuels at its inception and held various managerial positions between 2006 and 2013, including Regional Director Europe & Africa and Global Head of Strategy, Regulatory Affairs & Communication. During this period, bp made a number of significant investments in the biofuels sector, most notably the acquisition of three ethanol plants in Brazil which are now part of the BP-Bunge Bioenergia JV.
Olly will retire from bp at the end of 2020 but intends to remain involved in the Biofuels sector as an independent.

After graduating in Chemical Engineering at Turin Polytechnic, he joined Mossi and Ghisolfi (M&G) Group in 1990 and he had several management responsibility and covered several positions.
He has been VP R&D and Technology and member of the Executive Committee of M&G Group.
Since April 2015, Dario served as Chief Executive Officer of Beta Renewables S.p.A, leading the licensing activities of proprietary technology (PROESA ®) for the production of second generation ethanol and conversion of biomass to sugar.
Following the acquisition by Versalis of M&G Bio Perimeter on November 1st 2018, Dario joined Versalis and is in charge of licensing activities related to Green Chemistry.

Angel Alvarez Alberdi is the Secretary General of the European Waste-to-Advanced Biofuels Association (EWABA) since its creation in 2013. EWABA is a Brussels-based trade association defending the interests of the waste-based biodiesel industry using feedstocks such as used cooking oil (UCO), animal fats and other advanced wastes and residues to produce sustainable biofuels with high greenhouse gas savings.
Angel has been working in EU government and institutional affairs in Brussels for over 12 years, with a particular focus on energy and transport matters and EU legislative procedures. He started his career with a stint at the European Commission’s Secretariat General, to then work for an international public affairs consultancy, the EU trade association European Biodiesel Board, and a global law firm. A lawyer by training, Angel holds an M.A. in European Interdisciplinary Studies with a major in EU Governance from the College of Europe.

Sinead took over the role of VP Low Carbon Fuels in November 2021 after five years as Shell UK Country Chair. She is a Trustee of the Shell Foundation and a Fellow of the Energy Institute.
Prior to joining Shell, Sinead worked at BG Group where, as EVP Safety and Sustainability, she was a member of the Executive Committee. Following the announcement of Shell’s offer to acquire BG Group in April 2015, Sinead led the BG side of a combined Integration Planning Team and post deal completion, was a member of the leadership team that integrated BG into Shell.
Sinead worked for BG since 1993, joining as a Geophysicist before moving from the technical field to senior roles in Economics, Commercial, Business Development and Asset Management. She has led businesses both in the UK and internationally.
Sinead is married with two young sons.

Babette is the Vice President, Europe for LanzaTech, a pioneer in gas fermentation technology. LanzaTech converts carbon-rich gas streams into value-added products using proprietary microbes that feed on gases to provide economic routes to ethanol, jet fuel and chemicals. LanzaTech technology feeds on a variety of gases, including industrial off-gases from steel, and syngas from municipal solid waste (MSW) and biomass to reduce carbon emissions from industry, while producing platform chemicals that serve as building blocks to consumer products such as plastics, fuels and synthetic fibers. Products made from recycled carbon from industrial emissions reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by over 70% when compared to equivalent products derived from fossil fuels.
Before joining LanzaTech, Babette was Director of Business Development at Ginkgo Bioworks, an early stage leader in synthetic biology. Prior to this, Babette was the Chief Business Development Officer at Capricorn Venture Partners, a European manager of venture capital and equity funds, Chief Commercial Officer for BioAmber, a market leader in renewable chemicals, and VP New Business Development for Performance Materials at Royal DSM. Prior to this, Babette held Marketing & New Business Development roles in different industry groups for over 20 years at Dow Corning.
Babette has a BSc in Biology from Wellesley College, USA and an MBA from INSEAD, France. She lives and works in Brussels, Belgium, and is on the Board of the United Fund of Belgium which helps disadvantaged people and those with disabilities, by investing in projects that improve their situation and their social integration.

Emilia Knospe is working as a Technologist in the field of Bio & Renewables in Axens based in Rueil Malmaison and in charge of providing tailored technical solutions of the bio-based technologies for the biofuels and bio based chemicals production. She has started her professional career in Axens in 2014 as a process development engineer at IFPEN working on bio-based alcohol production, then from 2016 was a process engineer designing conventional refining units and also participating in the development of Futurol™, an innovative process for the production of 2G ethanol from lignocellulosic biomass. She has a strong experience in Futurol™ pre-commercial plant operation. In 2019 she joined the Bio & Renewables technology team where she is actively collaborating in the commercialization of Futurol™ as a lignocellulosic platform towards biofuels and biochemicals Emilia has graduated from the IFP School, Processes and Polymers and she holds the MSc in Chemical Engineering from Gdansk University of Technology in Poland.
