Lakeview buys Soy Energy biodiesel plant

Chicago, US-based Lakeview Energy has purchased the assets of the former Producer’s Choice Soy Energy facility in Moberly, Missouri.

Lakeview made the purchase with the aid of a $3.3 million (€2.9 million) loan from the USDA Rural Energy for America programme.

With a further $5 million investment, Lakeview plans to upgrade the 10 million gpy capacity biodiesel production facility, now known as Lakeview Biodiesel.
